Naz Riahi, Founder & Creative Director
Bitten was founded by Naz Riahi who was on a quest for something meaningful and magical. After more than a decade spent in the corporate world, doing advertising and marketing for various clients — from fashion to food to entertainment — Naz decided to put her chops to work on her own business. While not exactly a "foodie," Naz was attracted to the space for its innovation and creativity. And particularly because food is a common thread between all people and its future has great and broad implications. 

She quickly discovered, though, that the space was rather insular. Ever the disruptor, she decided to change that. 

Bitten was born to inspire creativity and change and to give a platform to diverse disruptors who are shaping our future.

The Bitten conference stands out from the rest because it's geared toward those working in food AND everyone else — as the intersection of food + technology, accessibility, giving, design, accountability and creativity is important to us all. 

Naz lives in Brooklyn with her 3-year-old rescue mutt #HugoTerrier. She speaks 3 languages, reads everything, surfs (terribly) and is always on the hunt for the perfect soft serve and the next trend (food or otherwise). 

She publicly writes and speaks publicly on all things food, her experience as an Iranian Immigrant and the importance of equality in the startup and corporate worlds.
